The Positive Action Pre-K Program is an extension of the Positive Action K-12 Program. Both are listed on the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP) as social-emotional skills interventions for improving self-concept, intellectual and physical health, self-control (i.e., impulsivity), self-management (i.e., follows directions; uses free time in appropriate ways), respect and consideration for others, social bonding, and honesty with self and others. Taught over the entire school year, this kit contains 130 scripted lessons and dozens of visual aids, songs and puppets that make each session fun as well as meaningful. Materials are provided for 30 students.
